A family-owned business founded in 1950, Al Zayani has been shaping Kuwait’s automotive landscape for over 75 years. Today, Al Zayani stands among the most respected luxury automotive retailers in the Gulf region, proudly representing some of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands.
Established in the heart of Kuwait’s old city, Al Zayani began its journey as the sole importer of Austin vehicles during the early years of the automotive industry in the country. While this iconic British brand is no longer in production, the pioneering spirit and expertise developed during those formative years laid the foundation for the company’s continued success and evolution.
Over the decades, Al Zayani has grown into a diverse and enviable automotive group. Its current portfolio includes Jaguar, Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, alongside Tata and Daewoo commercial vehicles. With a forward-thinking approach and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Al Zayani has earned its reputation as one of the region’s most dynamic names in motor retail.
In 1990, Kuwait faced the devastating Iraqi invasion, an event that deeply affected the nation and its economy. Al Zayani was among the many businesses that suffered extensive losses; its facilities were completely destroyed, and assets were pillaged. Demonstrating resilience and determination, the company rebuilt from the ground up, reopening its head office and showrooms in 1994.
Further reflecting its commitment to innovation and excellence, Al Zayani once again reimagined its facilities in 2016, introducing state-of-the-art showrooms designed to deliver an unparalleled luxury experience supported by the latest technology.
